At the New Mill Tavern we have an exclusive way of serving our guests and customers.
For the last 20 years, since she was running the Old Mill Tavern, Cathy tried to avoid some of the more popular and commercial
recipes. At our family restaurant you will be surprised. You can choose form one or two homemade dishes created from local
products, or you can choose our distinguished, unique menu. Pure Greek appetizers created
from our neighborhood's vegetable garden and local farms, fresh shrimp (from the gulf of Vonitsa) cooked in our secret wine
sauce, mouthwatering wild rabbit stew, local organic wine, traditional desserts and a range of vegetarian food and specialty
dishes suitable for children are available in our house. |
Antonis is a qualified chef and can advise you or even cook for you any Greek dish
you desire, perhaps even an ancient one. In addition, from this season we will start making available traditional products from
the areas surrounding Paleros Village for your taste delight while you
spend your evening or holidays with us. Catering for large groups and for other events is our specialty. |
And what about that traditional Greek cuisine? Well we don't completely avoid it, we
perfect it. Mousaka, is an internationally known dish but it is definitely a good choice to try it from our hands since we have
been serving it for more than 20 years. |
