Our Story!

All started in 1982 when Cathy and Chronis renovated a heritage, an old flour mill into a traditional family tavern, the famous Old Mill Tavern. Cathy, dancing with her recipes, regaling her customers with her stories and endless options, very soon became a favorite to all sailors and visitors.

In 1997, a propane explosion came to destroy a 15-year-old establishment, the Old Mill Tavern.

After the above event, Cathy and Chronis became even more motivated and enthusiastic about their business. Cathy and Chronis went about to rebuilding their establishment and within a very short time created the New Mill Tavern/Restaurant.

From its very beginning, the New Mill Tavern/Restaurant has been associated with Romance and Intrigue of far off places. Authentically decorated with an old traditional theme, The New Mill Tavern ascended from the remnants of the past.

In 1982, Cathy and Chronis started a restaurant to share their enthusiasm for great food, a lot of wine and an ambience that stimulates.
